I would guess that the Ministry of Health would be the first step in finding out. Thanks for the comment.

-GregGreg and Edna Silvahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13066968046147405213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32344352.post-21727559651078988292010-03-13T06:16:30.791-08:002010-03-13T06:16:30.791-08:00Very impressive information. A good diet will do much to negate any negative effects of radiation. This would include foods high in vitamin C, B-complex and iodine. In addition, when taking iodine,, one should also take selenium and Celtic salt. The soil is incredibly rich in that area of Ukraine, and as long as the radiation levels appear acceptable, the food will be highly nutritious. Also, it appears as if fears of dangers of eating the local food have been exaggerated, and higher levels of thyroid cancer and birth defects have gone down. If this is wrong information, please correct me.

Anyway, I think it's impressive how this City was built so well and so quickly. Fantastic! What is the agency responsible for SAFE farming in the area? Safe food? Please let me know if you do: tomcares@verizon.net.tomhttp://tompetrie.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32344352.post-68888487257515479642008-08-02T01:38:00.000-07:002008-08-02T01:38:00.000-07:00Thanks Vika. I'm looking forward to seeing you post some of them.

Danny,
It was a strange experience to say the least. Some of the homes were run down, but others looked like they had been plucked from the pages of a Better Homes and Gardens magazine. It looks like a nice place to live. We actually saw a small group of those track homes you're talking about on the way back to Chernihiv.

Ben,
I'll definitely keep you posted. Tanya just told Edna that she knows a lot of people who said they want to come to English Club. What a blessing already.

-GregGreg and Edna Silvahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13066968046147405213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32344352.post-77491680602674152382008-08-01T02:10:00.000-07:002008-08-01T02:10:00.000-07:00wow, defintely doesn't look like ukraine! so that...wow, defintely doesn't look like ukraine! so that's awesome that tanya got to come to your guys church. she really is a cool girl and hopefully she will continue coming and maybe her husband will get saved! keep me posted. thanks, greg!benjamin morrisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09186633523166261181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32344352.post-74639029572255342272008-07-31T22:11:00.000-07:002008-07-31T22:11:00.000-07:00looks like you guys had a fun time, I've always wa...looks like you guys had a fun time, I've always wanted to go to slvutych.

there are a couple small villages in either the priluki or poltava region that people said where built to resettle people and they have the track housing look too.
