Since the holiday was on a Sunday this year, we missed out on the real festivities. We really wanted to see the parade in Kyiv. Maybe next year we will go. But, our town had some nice decorations up and we caught a fireworks display out of our balcony window!

I love it too. This is one of our holidays I respect (as you know there are too many of them). It is strange, Ukraine is younger than me :)
