A Monument a Day #7 - University WWII Memorial
"To the employees and students that were lost in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945"
This monument stands in front of the Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University and was dedicated on the 30th anniversary of the victory of WWII. In the United States many people fought and died in WWII, but for the most part, they were soldiers, sailors, and marines fighting on foreign soil. It's easy to forget that here, people were fighting and dying for the very cities they lived in. It's a very sobering thought.
This memorial is located in front of the university at: 49°47'30.85"N 30° 6'42.04"E
